Songs I’ve written and recorded over the years, plus newer recordings as they happen.

Wen · Final demo

Summer 2003. After a year of playing out from a rehearsal space under a wallpaper factory in Hoboken, we took a break to record a few songs in our own studio, and dissolved the band, amicably, over these last few tracks.

  • Beautiful & Boring 3:50
  • The City Vs. 4:15
  • Almond Joy 4:00

Wen · songs from the basement

Fall 2002. A three-song EP tracked in a New Brunswick basement over what seemed like months of Saturdays: full-time jobs kept sessions to weekends. We learned the importance of constraints.

  • Rocketship 2:52
  • Antihero 3:16
  • Mistakes Yesterday 2:49

Wen · Avoid the Subject

Winter 1999. Four new songs from a studio deep in New Jersey, combined with tracks from our first session into a longer play of a CD.

  • Four Page Letters 2:07
  • Nothing's Different 3:13
  • Fualiens 4:04
  • 34 2:27
  • Miss Mystery 2:19
  • Maladroid 4:06
  • Maxi 2:31
  • A Lighter Shade of Green 7:04
  • 8 Hours Away 1:27
Recorded in the bedroom with a $13 mic; snuck on as a hidden track.
